Community Health Resource Center

The Community Health Resource Center (CHRC) at California Pacific Medical Center opened in 1986 to work in partnership with physicians at California Pacific, providing their patients a place to find comprehensive health information, nutrition services, and social services counseling. CHRC offers a wide range of individual and group support options including classes, lectures and lecture series, and health screenings. CHRC is dedicated to serving not only the patients of the Medical Center but to reaching out to the entire Bay Area community.

CHRC operates under the direction of the Patient Assistance Foundation (PAF), a not-for-profit corporation with a Board of Directors consisting of California Pacific physicians and community leaders. As a not-for-profit organization, the PAF must rely on grants and donations in order to support existing programs and to continue to provide new programs and services for CHRC's clients.
